Let's say that you want to add short teasers from your group's latest album, or a collection of bird songs…
Soundboard, the latest stack from Stacks4Stacks, is the ideal solution. Just drop a soundboard stack into your page, link to MP3 files you've added as resources, or files stored online, add images/buttons and/or captions as necessary and you're good to go.
Soundboard has a simple user interface and is intended for more uncomplicated setups where advanced features such audio controls, dynamic playlists, sequential playback and extended captioning aren't required. SoundBoard lists your MP3 tracks as attractive buttons and make them instantly available for playback in HTML5 format. Soundboard works in practically any modern web browser and on mobile devices.
The buttons are presented in a responsive CSS grid. You can either apply the same background styling to all buttons or customise button backgrounds individually on a button-by-button basis. The completed result is a tidy and particularly user-friendly interface. To play an MP3 track, simply click or press its button. To stop the MP3 track playing, press the button a second time, press an adjacent button, or click anywhere on the page.

Soundboard was designed specifically for RapidWeaver, you won't find the code anywhere else on the web. It is, without a doubt, the ideal stack for publishing short audio clips.
There's a long list of new features for Formloom 4. The list isn't as long as the new features introduced with version three, but still worthy of mention.
Here's what Mike lists as being new:
So let's be honest. I never used Formloom before. I tested the beta version of V4 and was impressed. Then, after seeing Yabdab's demo page, I decided that yes, Formloom beats the trousers (pants for those on the wrong side of the pond) off FormSnap and have purchased the plugin.
Why? Because the feature list is way longer (read: 'better') and I was impressed with the new page break feature for longer forms.
Formloom is a plugin. A Formloom Helper Stack is included with the plugin which allows you to add your completed form to any stacks page. The UI, even though the forms themselves can get very complicated, is easy to understand.
More complicated forms can be divided into 'subpages' and navigation dots are automatically added so that the user can see how many pages there are. Moving backwards or forwards within a form, or accidentally refreshing the page does not delete any information that was previously entered.
If you use Formsnap, there is a special crossgrade price available for Formloom. You might find it useful to check the demo out!
JW's Weaver's Space has gained a new stack – Horizon a stack that scrolls content into view when required.
We've seen sliders before, but Horizon is different, it can scroll content horizontally either when your visitor slides the scrollbar (or drags on mobile devices), or automatically. Automatically means that your content can scroll constantly (and pause on hover), or – especially subtle – scroll as the page is scrolled.
If Horizon is set to scroll manually, a badge can be displayed "Scroll Me" (or a text of your choice) so that even the least experienced visitor gets a hint that there's more content available.
Horizon will accept any stack [combination] that you care to throw at it, but it is also TotalCMS-ready, i.e. it has options to add a Blog List, a Gallery, or a Post Gallery.
Stack settings
Horizon Container
Start Position – %
Enable Scroll Hint
Hint Text
Collapse in Edit Mode
Horizon Scrollbar
Scrollbar – Default, Hide, Styled
Show on Hover
Scrollbar Height – Height, Gap (px)
Scrollbar Colours
Horizon Cards
Height – Auto, px, %
Width – Auto, px, %
Width – %
Min/Max – px

Animation – None, On Page Scroll, Loop, Loop on Hover
Horizon is a great way to display masses of information and even the most inexperienced visitor can hardly miss that there's more content to view.
Restrict Content is a stack that automatically converts sections of your page into images, thus restricting their availability. The converted sections do not appear within the HTML or CSS code, but can be accessed by the administrator or users with explicit rights.
Restrict Content can reduce the quality of an image that's displayed on your page by blurring it (even to the point of the image being unrecognisable), it can add password protection to an image or a section (appears when the image/section is hovered), it can add a gradient to an image or section so that the lower portion is invisible, and/or it can overlay content with a stack of your choice.
Restrict Content uses PHP to hide your content from the HTML page. This works perfectly for text content, but currently does not hide images from the page's resources.
You may choose to allow access to choice visitors by supplying them with a password (after subscribing to your page perhaps) and once access has been granted, images can be displayed in a lightbox.
Stack settings
Content Type – Convert to image, Convert to image and add blur, Convert to image and fade out, Convert to image and add watermark
Enable Call To Action – Add stacks of your choice
Allow Access – Never, With password, With confirmation button
Password
Allowed Attempts
Placeholder Text
Invalid Text
Failed Text
Field Position – Centre, Top, Bottom, Above, Below
Show Password Field On Hover
Enable Lightbox
Restrict Content is currently the best solution for restricting access to single elements on a web page. It's a shame that images aren't (as yet?) removed from the page resources, but 99% of regular users won't be able to access them anyway.
